Have a whole day of outdoor fun. Cycle from Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé nach Saint-Savin. Return by Kayak. This package includes bicycle and kayak hire as well as transfer back of the bicycles.
You can add on a night at our campsite - either with your own camping gear or take advantage of one of our pre mounted camping options.

SWIMMING
You can take a plunge straight from the campsite or a short drive away there is a man made beach with river access. They also offer an on site cafe/ restaurant with a big outdoor screen showing sporting events. A children's playground and picnic tables are provided. Kayak hire also available.
HIKING/CYCLING
There are various signed walks starting either from the campsite or nearby. From short strolls to multiple hour - every fitness level is catered for. Explore the beautiful area on foot or bicycle. We are happy to provide you with our inside knowledge and bike hire is available on site.
ROCK CLIMBING - LA GUIGNOTERIE
Just a short drive from the campsite is the famous climbing site LA GUIGNOTERIE.
20 to 30 metre high limestone crag, running along the River Angles.
The rock is highly pocketed limestone, very solid and well travelled (but not polished). Climbs are mostly off-vertical to vertical, though there are some roofs on the harder routes. Equipped to the normal French high standard with glued stable bolts ("broches").
Grades from F3 to F8b; F5-6b and F7a-7c climbers particularly well catered for.

KAYAKING
Aurelien FOURMY, a canoeing sports educator, welcomes you to discover the Vienne River in a natural and protected natural environment. Numerous tours are possible from Chauvigny, Bonneuil-Matours and Châtellerault. You can also discover other rivers of the area: Le Clain departure from Saint-Cyr or Poitiers, la Creuse, l'Anglin, and la Gartempe Rivers. For one or several days Aurelien FOURMY organizes your trip on the Vienne River, with transportation in a small bus for your return to your vehicle. The price for a half day 12 shuttle included. Kayac lessons are offered to acquire basic techniques as well as safety regulations. School groups, recreation centres and business groups can be accommodated by prior booking. ALL TOURS START FROM OUR CAMPSITE.
